I thought I'd update you all with what's going on at the moment with the band. We're still recording our demo - that's right, demo. We've decided to scale things back to take the pressure off trying to put together an album of 10+ tracks, mixing them to perfection and packaging them up. We just want you to hear our songs, so we're recording them as best we can and we'll give away the finished demo as free downloads and CD's at shows. We're only a small band after all, with limited time and funds. Hopefully the demo will lead us to bigger and better things though.

Recording Update

It's been a while since we've posted anything so I thought I'd update you on our progress recording our album. Nick has basically finished his drums. I've got half my bass tracks done and should be finished by the end of this month. We're looking for the perfect guitar tones at the moment and once we've nailed those we'll start tracking guitars. Geoff and Warren are perfecting melodies and lyrics before they start laying down vocals. We have a few new songs in progress as well that may or may not make the album.

Our aim is to have this all wrapped up before next summer so we can start playing shows again.

Ripped Off Riffs In The 'Riff

We're playing the pop punk extravanganza FIGJAM at the Embassy Hotel in Penrith on Thursday March 5th 2009. This will be our last show for a while as we'll be concentrating on recording our debut album for the next few months.

The show starts at 8pm. Its free entry and over 18's. Under 18's can get in if they are with an over 24 year old.

The Embassy Hotel is located at 48-50 Station St Penrith...

New logo

Here's our new logo designed by DPART. Click on it to open it and then save it. Use it as your desktop or something else useful. We'll get it printed on shirts sooner or later.

Update - shows, demo etc

Warren has settled in nicely and we have been playing a few shows around town to get back into the swing of things. Its nice to be playing live regularly (to some degree) but we want/need to start playing to more than 10 people. The songs sound pretty darn good and we want as many people as possible to hear them.

So you'll start to notice the shows dry up for a bit while we work on our demo and get something done for the people that do come to shows & hit our myspace, facebook & website to take away and listen to. We'll probably make the demos available for free online and once we've got them to a stage where we think they're good enough we may press some CDs and sell them at shows etc.

We're going to try and keep things more up to date on our myspace & facebook as well and get talking to you guys more so drop us a message if you're bored.
